i thought it might be fun to share a small shop overseas today. the amazing thing about the web is being able to literally shop worldwide without leaving our laptops. not that i don’t encourage travel when we can again because i’m strongly all for that, but right now we don’t enjoy that freedom. so today we’re featuring a very long time favorite of mine –gothenburg, sweden-based fine little day. i’ve been following inspiring founder, artist and designer elisabeth dunker for about 10 years now — ever since first discovering her playful, fanciful work on flickr around 2007.
elisabeth has branched out so much since then — creating a prolific body of work inspired by curiosity, folk art, and offbeat creative expressions outside cultural norms. fine little day carries everything from homewares likes prints & posters, cushions and bedding and fabric by the yard to whimsical books, and to now include fashion from other independent designers as well as elisabeth’s own wonderful designs. here’s a look at some of my favorites from the fine little day shop — and be sure to follow elisabeth on her blog and on instagram for more of her creative and inspiring lifestyle.
