i’m really inspired by this fresh look i’m seeing around — a modern twist on the traditional ranch or country style home. it’s got a little bit of scandinavian slant, too — simple and spare design with lots of white exposed beamed ceilings and shipslap walls (i blame joanna and chip gaines for that trend!) paired with bright, eclectic accessories like boucherouite rugs and bold textiles. it’s decor and furniture that’s a mismatched mix of one part rustic and two parts vintage modern and i really love the warm, inviting and eclectic blend.
