recently featured in domino magazine, this is the sweet, light-filled austin, texas bungalow belonging to interior designer claire zinnecker. claire just renovated her 1930’s home and in the issue shares some great tips on saving big bucks when renovating — something i was very keen to read since i’ve got a few renovations in mind myself. i quite like idea of the Caesarstone countertop option (versus the more splurge-worthy Carrara marble) — it’s clean looking and nice and bright. and rather than tiling, she used the bungalow’s existing shiplap — which i happen to love the look of. for more of claire’s budget friendly ideas, check out the summer issue of domino and visit claire’s instagram feed.
