A happy home is not only a beautiful one but a healthy one, too. The ethos of Cisco Home and their commitment to design, family and the environment in creating their collection of sustainable furniture. Since 1990 founder Cisco Pinedo and his family have handcrafted their full line of furnishings using sustainable materials and building methods from their company’s los angeles workshops. Pieces with plenty of style in mind, but are as good and healthy for its patrons as they are for the planet.

Along with his daughter and the company’s creative director, Maurishka, they also designed an exquisite print collection available as pillows, upholstery and yardage. The prints were inspired by traditional textiles, like African mudcloth, Burmese indigo and Moroccan kilims, and each use natural dyes and materials in their processes.

The most recent debut is a new collection called Environment. Cisco has partnered with two L.A. based makers who share similar sustainable and handmade production methods. Every piece has a unique story, where wood is reclaimed from inner cities, small rural towns and farmlands. A beautiful blend of the old and new, the classic and modern.
