at first glance this very bohemian new york apartment looks like there’s quite a lot going on. but at further inspection, it’s a space with a seemingly well-thought out cohesiveness. the color palette is lovely and while yes, there are a lot of collectibles and art on the walls here, they somehow work together in a very effortless and stylish way. even a vintage gnome somehow looks at home on a very ornate fireplace mantel. this is the village live/work home space of incurable travel junkie, textile designer and art expert Rodman Primack. i think the pale gray walls may help to neutralize the abundance of books, art, and many patterns and prints happening here, making it a really quite unexpectedly soothing and gorgeous space. for the full tour, visit architectural digest espana.
