happy friday everyone! what a busy week i’ve had with back-to-back dental appointments (ugh) and lots of meetings, including one with a well-known and beloved designer and another with pinterest — both projects that i’m excited to soon share with you. in the meantime, here’s my round-up of friday finds. it always pleasantly surprises me that you seem to like these so well, it’s always a post with the most traffic and it’s such an odd collection of just things i’m loving. maybe i need to do more of them! have a great weekend and thanks as always for reading!

xo, victoria

  1. photographer marine brusson takes the prettiest pictures. i literally want to live in each and every one of her photographs. this beachy bedroom is no different. i love the color palette (those pops of yellow!) and the wall mural as a headboard is just beautiful. follow her on instagram for much more inspiration.
  2. if you get to paris anytime soon, i highly recommend a stay at the hotel des grands boulevards. i love this capture of one of their dreamy guest rooms by @sthlmeyes — it captures the hotel’s charm perfectly with their fabric swagged beds and the fun little retro telephones bedside. sigh, i need to get back there and soon.
  3. i completely forgot about this vintage botanical print i found on chairish. i had it hanging in my kitchen but then i put up shelving in its place so it was relegated to the ‘art files’. i’m debating about trying it in the new dining room. what do you think? shall i try it? otherwise, it’s going up for sale on super marché.
  4. i love this grasscloth wall treatment in this paris bedroom designed by @fabriziocasiraghi. the apartment in Paris’s 10th arrondissement has been completely overhauled by the designer. and guess who designed the building originally? none other than Gustave Eiffel — ouí, that Eiffel!
  5. every time i see these Mies van der Rohe cane chairs used so beautifully in a dining room i want to kick myself! i had a set of four and when i moved from san francisco to L.A. i sold them to a friend. they are such cool chairs, i can’t believe i did that. but at least there’s comfort knowing they are in the home of a good friend.
  6. lobster and swan is one of my favorite instagram accounts and blogs, and her shop the future kept is full of gorgeous homewares. whatever jeska posts i promise it’s always lovely and most inspiring. this is a sneak peek at her creative studio where it all happens — i think you’ll like having a look.
  7. i’ve just discovered that mango, one of my go-to clothing resources has a homewares collection, too. i’m loving their pretty collection of table linens and their green gingham napkins and tablecloth are just so perfect for spring. and, it also comes in blue, and black & white gingham, too.
  8. i shared a peek at this east london home last week, but i had to share what this creative couple did with the outside wall treatment of their garden. they’ve cleverly incorporated woven hazel, which is an ancient building technique that’s incredibly sustainable. wowza!
